Dear colleagues,

Another year of tumultuous activity has passed and it is time to renew your ACP Membership. The Board unanimously decided to continue the affiliation rules as follows:

ACP Premium Member - 100 euro
ACP Standard Member - 30 euro.

While both categories will make you a full member of the ACP, and thus confer the right to vote, only Premium Members have access to the full range of ACP benefits (among them, ranking in the ACP Tour / Women series, participation in events organized by the ACP, eligibility for ACP nominations/wild cards, special prizes and discounts as provided for by agreements between the ACP and several tournament organizers, and free visa support).

You can transfer your moneys in one of three ways:

1. Via our bank account:
2. Via our Paypal account (paypal@chessprofessionals.org)
3. By cash to any Board Member.

By renewing no later than on 31 March 2015, you will not lose any ACP Tour points gained during 1 January - 31 March, 2015. If you renew after that date, the ACP Tour points will only accrue after your renewal date.

Also, please note that in order to take advantage of the special deals with the organizers of the Gibraltar Chess Festival and the European Individual Chess Championship you need to renew or initiate your Premium membership before the start of these events: this is the only way to have access to the special prizes reserved to Premium ACP members. Details can be found on the listed tournaments' websites.

In 2014, the ACP helped over 100 chess professionals to solve their chess related issues, many times independently of their association with the ACP. This was a very substantial effort for the Board Members who operate on non-compensated basis. Please note that this policy will change. As of February 1, 2015, in order to get assistance from the ACP you need to be at least Standard Member.

All the details on the new ACP fee structure can be found here: http://www.chessprofessionals.org/content/acp-membership-and-fee-structure-acp-tour-eligibility

In order to better serve the ever increasing community of chess professional, the ACP needs your support. Please join now!
