A letter from the ACP President

A letter from the ACP President is part of the ACP General Assembly 2015

Dear colleagues and friends,

Time flies fast, and it is now almost four years since yours truly was elected to the ACP Presidency.

These were very exciting and fruitful years, full of work and everyday tasks.

Summarizing it, I'd say that ACP Board can be really proud of its achievements, promoting the professional chess in various ways.

Whether it was for organizing major events or helping veterans, cooperating with the organizers of the traditional events and ongoing dialogue with FIDE, ECU and national federations, resolving our members' legal issues or launching and working on the anti-cheating issues, lobbying for higher prize funds and improving professional chess standards and regulations - we have always been there for you and with you.

A lot has been done, but there are so many things to do...

In this regards, I'd ask you to support me for the upcoming ACP elections. Actually, it is not only about me, but about the Team, and here are the people I'm going to vote for:

Jeroen van den Berg, Alexander Colovic, Max Dlugy, Yuri Garrett, Abhijit Kunte, Bartlomiej Macieja, Anastasia Savina, Pavel Tregubov. Support us, and we will continue to do our utmost serving a professional chess community, making a professional chess world a better place.

Emil Sutovsky
President ACP
