ACP General Assembly Results

Dear Members,

We would like to share with you the results of the General Assembly.

The General Assembly has an informational character and from the members who took their time to vote the majority confirmed the reports.

We had 34 responses, out of which 26 were from Premium and Standard members.

The results were as follows:

I discharge the President for his management during the year 2018.
Yes 16
No 5
I abstain 3

I approve the accounts of year ended 31.12.2017.
Yes 23
No 0
I abstain 1

This General Assembly marks the end of a very successful period for the ACP, a period when the association finally managed to accomplish almost everything it has fought for over the years.

Now it is time to turn to the future. We would like to remind you once again to consider the possibility of your direct involvement in the new ACP as members of the new board.

We have already scheduled an Electoral General Assembly from 15 February and the deadline for submission of your applications will be 8 February (these are to be sent to secretary@chessprofessionals.org). This Electoral GA will choose the new board of the ACP that will take the organisation forward.

Please note that only members registered in the Association at least 12 months before the date of the beginning of the General Assembly have the right to take part in the voting. Recently joined members have no right to vote, but can be elected.

New times require new people with new ideas. We are looking forward to your active participation.

The ACP Board
